I had a Dr. appointment yesterday it went how I thought it was going to go. I asked him about numbness below my knee, and he said that is normal, that is some nerve damage, but that will come back. Good news. Then I asked him about getting a bone stimulator and he said sure, lets give it try, doesn't hurt to try. Good news! But, he doesn't know if it will help or not, but willing to try it. He then tried moving it in all directions asking me if it hurts, and of course it does you are forcing it to move. He then said that it feels good, just really tight. Good news. My next visit will be in March and he will do an MRI or something on it (get a new set of films) see if we are getting any more progress. In the mean time waiting to get the bone stimulator and keep going to P.T. twice a week. P.T. twice a week is kind of pain in the ass, but it is working, so keep pushing forward.
When I do ride now, when I am finished my wrist is very sore and takes a little while before it feels better. I am hoping that I will be able to ride outside when the weather gets nicer.
Had a ftp test last night and felt that went good. Having a power meter is soooooo nice. Making it easy to gauge your fitness. Power went up a little bit, which I am very happy with and I am 10 watts down from August of last year (max 20min). Not bad considering still in a base phase. I told my February training plan will be changing and am excited to see what changes.
I am hopefully doing a TTT this Sunday down in Franklin at a Multisport Expo, this should be fun, a change of pace. This race is a four man team and there will be eight teams, riding computrainers. Nothing like racing in January.
Cobb saddle is still working great!
Thanks for reading.
